The Battell Community Center is indeed just that: - a place where people of all ages gather together. It may be for recreational pleasure, it may be to learn in one of the many classes that Battell Center offers, or it may be just to get together with friends over a cup of coffee and a sandwich. For whatever reason people go to the Battell Center, they always have a good time!
Battell Center is a warm and welcoming place for all ages.
Classes in dance, exercise, organ, yoga, art, and Tai Chi (to name a few) are offered to participants. Euchre, bridge, ping-pong, shuffleboard, day excursions and week-long excursions are also offered. Basketball, volleyball, senior softball leagues and horseshoes are some of the sports activities that participants enjoy.
Battell Center's auditorium offers entertainment to our community in many forms. Whether it's a theatrical production, musical celebration, evening of comedy or dance, or a holiday-themed performance,
Battell Center is the place to be in Mishawaka - and a real source of pride for our community, with a total building attendance of nearly 53,000 patrons in 2006.
