the Central Motor Pool
The Motor Pool has 15 employees, including 2 management positions,
and is equipped with a full service shop, which is used to service
and repair all City vehicles. A top priority of the Motor Pool is
maintaining the fleet of 330 City vehicles including Police Cars
and Ambulances and Snow Plows. The Motor Pool also monitors the
City's computerized fuel dispensing system, cleans up accident debris
and maintains the building and grounds.
The facility is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year and serves
as a contact for citizens for after hours calls concerning street
department and sewer issues.
