The Department of Community Development provides economic development expertise and information to advise and guide in development, redevelopment, and the construction process of both large and small businesses. The Department also promotes economic stability and growth through sound planning and development programs including Tax Incremental Financing, development programs in the downtown area, and tax abatements.
