D.A.R.E. State Champion Essay

The Mishawaka Police Department would like to congratulate Lina Marchi, a 5th grader from Twin Branch Elementary School, for winning the Indiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association D.A.R.E. essay contest. Lina Marchi’s D.A.R.E. essay was chosen as the Top D.A.R.E. essay in the State of Indiana.

Lina Marchi read her winning essay in front of D.A.R.E. Officers from all over Indiana at the Indiana State D.A.R.E. conference in Indianapolis on Thursday, August 4th. After reading her winning essay, Lina was presented with a plaque, savings bond and other D.A.R.E. prizes.
