City Burn Ban Lifted

Mayor David A. Wood has announced that effective Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 6:00 AM, the City of Mishawaka will lift the burn ban that took effect on June 15, 2012 due to the dangerous drought conditions. “We are happy to announce that with the recent rains and cooler weather, we feel that the burn ban can now be lifted.  Thank you to all of the Mishawaka Citizens for their cooperation during this burn ban.  Because of this cooperation, there were no emergency or serious safety issues that had to be dealt with,” commented Mayor Wood.
