After the Pledge of Allegiance President Compton introduced the Treble Clef Singers, a group of 4th, 5th and 6th Graders from the Mishawaka Schools to perform “To Those Who Serve”.

The Treble Clef Singers sang “Sarasponda” and “Your Friend Shall Be the Tall Wind”

Pasquale Rulli, President of the FOP, said the week of May 12th is Police Appreciation Week and on May 15th there will be a Memorial Service for Fallen Officers at 11:00AM at the Police Station.

Mayor Wood announced the Food Bank of Northern Indiana and the Postal Workers are doing a food drive this Saturday, May 11th. Place bags of food by mail boxes.

John Roggeman asked the Mayor for a Recycling Program Report. The Mayor said we are up 68 tons which averages out to 3 lbs per citizen. The program is being well used therefore keeping the trash rates down.

Mr. Emmons Neighborhood Meeting will be May 16th at 7:00pm St. Bavo’s School the speakers will be Senator John Broden and Representative David Niezgodski.

Matt Mammolenti’s Neighborhood Meeting will be May 22nd at7:00pm Twin Branch School the topic will be Health Care.
