Clerk Block read the following letters of recommendation; 

  • A letter from the Board of Zoning Appeals regarding recommendations from their June 13, 2017 meeting.
  • A letter from the City Plan Commission regarding recommendations from their June 13, 2017 meeting.

Clerk Block read the following state statute hearing and opened the public hearing;

  • A public hearing on Vacation 2017-01 as required by State Statute on behalf of Olivia Gonzales and Austin Armenta commonly known as the alley west of 131 E. Seventh Street.

Linda Scarberry voiced her concerns about the alley vacation. It was recommended to have a meeting with the petitioner.

Jackie Russel, 3718 LWE Mishawaka, owns Hearing Aide Services has been cited for a signage violation would like to be exempt from the ordinance. It was suggested she schedule a meeting with Ken Prince, City Planner.

12.  New Business  

A motion was made by Mr. Banicki to change the meeting date to July 5th, seconded by Mike Compton motion carried.

  • Change the July 3rd meeting to July 5th

Kate Voelker commended the Parks and Central Services Departments for saving/repairs to the WPA Bench that overlooks the river at Battell Park.
