Main Street Neighborhood Meeting

Later this month, the City will begin construction of Main Street, from Broadway south to Mishawaka Avenue. Because residents that face Main Street in that area will be affected, a neighborhood meeting will be held on Monday, July 12 at 6:30pm in the Community Room at Battell Center.
National Homeownership Month

Mayor Jeff Rea has declared June to be National Homeownership Month and is requesting the citizens of Mishawaka to recognize this special observance with activities which increase awareness of the opportunities and advantages of homeownership throughout our community. Generous Hums 5th Graders Offer Gift of Reading

On Monday May 10th at Hums Elementary School Road 5th Graders from Linda Risner’s class wrapped up their used children’s book drive and presented over a thousand books to Christopher Bjorkland.
Electric Safety Program

This May, the Mishawaka Utilities Electric Division partnered with The City of Bremen to begin providing 5th grade students in our Mishawaka Schools with an electrical safety training program.
