Summerfest 2013 -- June 21 - 22
The 30th Annual Mishawaka Summerfest will be held at Merrifield & Crawford Parks Friday, June 21st from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and all day Saturday, June 22nd, 2013. In celebration of the 30th anniversay, this year we are offering 30 distinct events and attractions. Visit the Summerfest 2013 homepage to get all the latest info!
Stay Active & Swim!
Keep cool this summer by staying active - learn to swim! The Mishawaka Parks Department is offering swim lessons for children ages 5-18 at both Merrifield Pool and Mary Gibbard Pool. Sessions are $25 per child per session and there are a variety of session dates & times to choose from. Each session runs for two weeks (Monday-Friday) for 45 minutes each day. NOTE: The "Mom/Dad & Me" session at Merrifield is 30 minutes.
Battell Center Garage Sale
Register now to be in the Garage/Craft Sale at the Battell Community Center on Friday, May 31, 2013. The sale runs from 8:00 am-5:00 pm in the Battell Center Parking Lot weather permitting. The rain date is scheduled for the following Friday June 7, 2013.
Space Rental Costs A 10x10 Space Rental is $5.00, and a 6’ table / chair combo is $10.00. Register at the Battell Center 904 N. Main St., (574) 258-1664.
2013 Summer Concert Series
Mishawaka Parks is excited to announce the schedule for the 2013 Summer Concert Series. These family-friendly concerts are held primarily the Battell Park Bandshell and at Beutter Park along with some August programs also available on the Eberhart Deck at Eberhart-Petro Golf Course.
Battell Park Bandshell concerts are scheduled on Mondays starting June 3rd from 7:00-8:00pm. Beutter Park concerts are Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm. Eberhart Deck concerts are presently scheduled for Fridays from 8:00-9:30pm.
